THE NIGERIA HEAD OF STATE FROM 1960 TILL DATE.
The name Nigeria comes from the confluence of Niger and its
environs which is named with the idea and innovation of our then
colonial lord’s wife called Lady flora shaw lugard in 1900.
Nigeria is an heterogeneous country that has a population about 200 millions
people which led to be called the gaint of Africa as it played a forefront role in her political and economy prospect.
The total land mass of Nigeria is 923,768 km2 (356,669 mi2) which makes it to be the 32nd world’s largest country by land mass.
Nigeria is a multi-ethnic
and a high profile of diversify of languages which is up to 3000
languages but the major one are Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba nonetheless we have different tribes, culture, religion and race.
It has a large impact on African economy as it whole by exporting mineral resources, petroleum and by having a good standard of living through
the promulgation of many factories, industries and companies such as
Alhaji Aliko Dangote group of company.
Lagos had been called a British colony under the protectorate of
the United Kingdom and serve as the federal republic of Nigeria until it was transferred to Abuja in 1991 doing the Babangida regime.
Nigeria is comprises of 36 state with one federal capital territory in
Abuja, which maintains 109 senators and 360 representatives from the thirty six state of the federation.
